Skaneateles State Street School's Spring Concert

Last night, Ali performed in the Skaneateles State Street School's Spring Concert. The third, fourth, and fifth graders performed a variety of material ranging from Antonín Dvořák to Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. Ali and the other third-graders performed Lightly Row (traditional), Pickin' & Grinnin' (Stoutamire & Henderson), and Canon in G (Thomas Tallis). The kids all sounded great. There was a very interesting rendition of Phantom of the Opera (1925) that was performed in support of the silent film, as would have happened in 1925.
